My Internship Was a Valuable Start to My Career

Working with brandEXPANSION has lent me the opportunity to work with some amazing people. In addition to this, I have also gained a sincere new found respect for the franchise industry. As an intern, I was constantly flooding myself with new knowledge about aspects of the franchise world and the business world as well.

My duties as an intern were as follows: to research and then write about specifically assigned aspects of the franchise world. The great thing about this was that I was given the opportunity to flourish as a creative writer. I had the chance to both learn about something new and craft my literary skills.

I was afforded the opportunity to work closely with my editor Sandy, who made my experience so much more worthwhile. She was open to story suggestions and always gave me creative freedom for every piece that I wrote. Her personal writing experience and knowledge granted me priceless instruction and guidance.

One of my favorite aspects about my internship with brandEXPANSION was the fact that I was never out of reach. With a quick switch of the power button on my laptop, I could connect to the entire bE team. Their virtual setup was ideal for a busy college senior like myself. I was never burdened with thoughts of how I would get to and from my internship. The virtual setup made it easy to connect and always be a click away from someone at bE.

Not only do you get precious experience writing as an intern with bE, but you have the potential to become a published writer. Fortunately, I was blessed to have several of my articles posted within the brandEXPANSION network online. There is nothing better than going online to find your name written beneath the title of your very own work, the phrase “written by” begins to hold a much deeper meaning. Then you realize that you are not the only one admiring your work, but there is a countless number of online readers that too relish in your work.

I have come to find that my internship with brandEXPANSION was nothing less than amazing. I have come away with a new respect for an industry I knew very little about before. I have this new plethora of knowledge that will help serve me in my future. I feel confident in the fact that I have helped spread that knowledge.
